Six leading firework companies battle over two nights to win the title of British Firework Champions.

2021 Competitors

Each night, three 10-minute displays are fired from Mount Batten breakwater in Plymouth Sound.

Night One – Wednesday, 18 August 2021

  2. Phoenix Fireworks – Kent

  3. The Fireworkers – North Yorkshire

Night Two – Thursday, 19 August 2021

  • Fully Fused Fireworks – Cambridgeshire

  • Aurora Fireworks – East Sussex

  • AJ Pyrotechnics – West Sussex

And the winner is…

Aurora Fireworks

Based in East Sussex, Aurora Fireworks is known for its artistry, attention to detail, and finely tuned musical choreography. Their winning display at the 2021 British Firework Championships showcased their hallmark style—elegant, immersive, and technically refined. Blending bold colour combinations with precisely timed sequences, Aurora delivered a performance that stood out for its balance of emotional impact and visual spectacle. Their victory was a testament to decades of experience and a continued commitment to pushing creative boundaries in the world of professional pyrotechnics
